Into Autumn

This collection of pinhole images was made during the fall of 2022, an important season of growth for me. As summer’s vibrant greens shifted to autumnal hues of yellow and orange, I learned how to be a father, tried to live more presently, and embraced a simple approach to making images.

If you’re new to pinhole photography, you might notice that these images look a little different than typical digital photographs. But what they lack in clinical sharpness and chromatic perfection, they make up for in their unique, raw character. More importantly, making photos with a pinhole camera is a an enjoyable process that lends itself well to the contemplative experience I seek from my time in nature.

All images were shot on Kodak Gold 200 using an Ondu Pinhole 6x12 Rise camera.
